Shards of Order launched July 28, 2026 at 6 PM CET on Steam PC and is now live. Open the Post-Launch guide for week-one routing, or grab the title on the Steam store page for Shards of Order. The demo remains free for practice.

Confirm your PC meets specs
Verify minimum or recommended hardware — Windows 10/11, DirectX 12, 4 GB storage. See System Requirements for full Steam spec tables and controller support notes.

Learn launch combat rules
Read How to Play for the persistent RPG loop, then Redraw and Queue and Combat System for time-counter rules that differ from early demo habits.

Use Ethereal Power before revive spam
Each revive adds a Fracture stack; redraws deal 6 damage per hero per stack (max 18). See Ethereal Power and Laws and Fracture for smarter recovery.

Build around the permanent trio
Soldier, Scholar, and Exile share one deck at launch. Use Deckbuilding, Builds, and the Deck Calculator. Warlock and Bladedancer are story-only.

Is Shards of Order out now?
Yes — the full game launched July 28, 2026 at 6 PM CET on Steam PC. See Post-Launch and Launch Day.
Is Shards of Order a roguelite?
No. Despite a branching node map, it is a persistent dark fantasy RPG with lasting progression—not a wipe-on-death roguelite. Start with How to Play or Getting Started.
Which languages are supported?
This wiki is available in English, Français, Deutsch, Español. Use the language button in the header to switch at any time.
What should I do after the demo?
Continue into the full campaign, finish Shrike's Lair if needed, then follow the Purged Village Walkthrough for the first hub beyond the demo dungeon.
Which heroes are playable at launch?
Soldier, Scholar, and Exile are the permanent party. Warlock and Bladedancer appear in story but not as permanent roster slots. See Characters.
Can I still play the demo?
Yes. The free Steam demo remains live alongside the full game. Demo saves do not replace the full campaign — use it for mechanical practice.
